What a great surprise! We have thought about stopping here several times, and I'm so glad we finally did. The food is delicious, and the staff are so friendly. We shared a couple small apps & they were delicious! I cannot wait to return here very, very soon!!!

New to area and Cuban food. Everything we had was delicious. I had the tapas: mushrooms, bacon wrapped cheese stuffed dates and flank steak on flat bread. All three were fresh with a deep satisfying flavor. My husband had the salmon and felt the same. His salad was made with fresh ingredients and sweet colorful fruits. Atmosphere was perfect. We sat on the patio opening to the sidewalk and enjoyed people watching. Our server was very polite, helpful and attentive. Will definitely return to try new dishes.

Amazing drinks & service. I ordered the Caldo Gallego (soup) & it was delicious!! I ordered a Tropical Mojito (passion fruit) & my boyfriend ordered a blue pina colada. Everything was extremely wonderful! 10/10 will return.

It's easy to rack up a big bill here, as there are just too many delicious things to try. A terrific part of downtown New Albany.

Visited for the first time since Covid, last week. I simply LOVE this restaurant. Never had a bad waiter, never had a bad expierience. This time was no exception, food was great, drinks were great, service impeccable. The amount of food may have been a bit smaller, (maybe) but the times have hit everybody hard and still was plenty. ANDDD Love the music while dining..... Going to try pickup soon, see how that works.

Outstanding eatery...a dinner experience where nothing was off. Greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. We had seven people originally however our party ended up being only five. The hostess said no problem and promptly took us to our table. First visit for me. Our server approached the table about three minutes as we settled in. She made drink selections easy and helped pair our appetizers to compliment our food. That's a good server! As we are waiting for drinks I realize they have live music on Saturday's Not sure who the gentleman was but he added so much ambiance he should be a regular. So our apps arrive with our drinks..hummus topped with a black and green olive and a purple onion strip. The presentation was outstanding as was the hummus, we also ordered cheese dip and bread, empty plates when we finished As we were eating our apps the server asked if we'd like to order, so we did! My friends loved everything, the salmon, the Derby Burger with a egg topping, pulled pork served with most appetizing salad I've ever seen. Our server did everything correct, I was amazed. We didn't have to ask for anything, our drinks stayed full and app plates were removed prior to the entrees.. Havana blues may not have the bells and whistles decor that attract many. They don't need the glitz. I'll take a excellent server and great food anyway. This place delivers!

Last night marks the third time I've visited Habana Blues. The live, festive music makes for a nice dinner. Of the three times we've been here we had great service only once. The restrooms and restaurant overall seems clean and tidy. Ive never had a drink I love here yet, between the swirl marg, pineapple marg and cucumber jalapeño marg. None of them were bad per-say, just tasted similar to a Jose Cuervo pre-mix, not tasting freshly made in house. My boyfriend LOVES the KY Mojito here. We like to order the Tapas Sampler plates so we have a wide variety of things to take. Their Croquetas are the best I've ever had!! The blue mussels are also very good - tons of flavor in the broth. My boyfriend gets the lamb chops here usually which are nicely cooked and served with a red pepper hummus. We also enjoy their Cubano sandwich on occasion. If you're ever in New Albany, Habana Blues is super worth checking out!!

First of all I wouldn't usually pick a Cuban restaurant...just not my pick of cuisine. This place was close, and I needed a place to wind down and get a quick bite. I parked in the convenient lot off the alley behind Pearl St. Only one table occupied at 2pm so no wait to be seated. My sister and I shared the fundido which was enough I wish it came with a little more crusty bread. We both got salads and were very impressed with how fresh they tasted. I will be back and may just try to be a little more menu adventurous next time.

Excellent place for a date. Parking and entrance in the rear of the restaurant as well as entrance in front. Live music in the evening. Staff is very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is relaxing I enjoyed the decor, great conversation pieces. Food was delicious and serving sizes were just right. Started the meal with quacamole, had lamb chops and beef wellington.
